This 99.9% efficient vent free garage heater has a built in (factory installed) blower fan that distributes the heat around your garage or workshop. No venting or duct-work necessary. The unit even operates without the fan during power outages.

For safety the flame is shielded behind a metal plate that stops debris (including wood chips) from clogging up the gas outlet.

But that's not all on the safety front, it even includes a low oxygen depletion system (ODS) - a fantastic feature that automatically shuts off the heater if the level of oxygen in the room even approaches an unsafe level for human occupation.

It is easily mounted to the wall using the parts included in the box and comes with a built in battery powered ignition system (AA battery included in box).

It is made by Mr Heater, one of the best known heater brands in the USA, and comes with a full one year warranty.

The top mounted thermostat makes this a very convenient vent free garage heater, but there's more, DESA charge up to $40 for a blower/fan for their equivalent garage heater which ships in a separate box and you have to install it yourself - inside the heater. Mr Heater include that for free and have it installed at the factory so you get the complete unit ready to go.

If you don't want to use the blower/fan, don't plug it in the heater will still operate trouble-free without it. What's more, you can switch between fan mode and non-fan mode without interrupting the heater (which make it perfect for power outages and glitches).
