This blower is powered by electricity but still allows your heater to operate even during power outages. Only fits DESA space heaters from 16,000 BTU to 30,000 BTU designed for the 2006/2007 winter season onwards.

7 steps: easy if installed before heater hooked up.

Only works with DESA space heater models between the sizes of 16,000 BTU and 30,000 BTU from the 2006/2007 winter season.

The blower is connected to a thermostat. When the unit heats up the fan will operate. A few minutes after the heater cycles off or is turned off, the fan will shut down. The fan will cycle on and off in this manner.

Doing it this way means that you do not have to link the blower to any internal wiring inside the heater making the installation much simpler and safer.

If an extension lead is needed, the extension cord must have a three prong plug and be rated to 16 AWG.

An electrical outage will cause the blower not to work but will not impact the operation of the heater itself.
