Better than the competition because this model includes a built-in thermostat. National Riverside's 150-FASNG and DESA's BNG150T come with similar performance, a higher price tag and no thermostat.
Despite the "170" in the model name, the output of this unit is actually 150,000 BTU.
The heavy duty high output fan in this unit puts out 450 CFM providing a fantastic, almost instant, circulation of heat.
Ready to use, just hook it up and turn it on.
Safe to use: Heater shuts down if the flame goes out or if the gas supply is cut off. It also has a safety thermal cut-off switch set at 240 degrees.
