Q. Why does the shipping cost more for an oil filled radiator than a ceramic space heater ?

A. Oil filled radiators are made from metal. They are much heavier than typical space heaters. That said, combine the metal finish with fewer moving parts and you'll find that the radiators will last many more years than a typical $20 or $40 space heater. It actually works out cheaper to pay the shipping now and get more years of use out of the heater.
