This is a multiposition ceramic heater. You can stand it up and it works as a tower heater, or lie it down and it functions as a baseboard heater. You can't get much more flexible than that. Only DeLonghi could design something to do both jobs and yet make it look so hot.
It has a durable metal body made from a thicker metal than the cheap units you see in the space heater market, and very durable plastic end caps to house the carrying handles and the control panel.
It has a high and low heat setting, plus an anti-freeze mode (where the thermostat is set at 41 degrees), and a fan-only mode for those hot days of summer.
When you have it lie it down on its side and use it as a baseboard heater, its shape provides a natural incline so the heat is pushed outwards and upwards so it warms your whole body not just your feet.
It's highly portable and houses a ceramic heater element, so you get immediate and quiet heat anywhere you want it.
It has a built in anti-roll system, consisting of a pair of anti-roll bars om the front and a curved rear side, so that if it ever gets knocked over it never ends up in a position that blocks the heated grill or the air intakes - this means the heater should never overheat. This feature alone makes it safe, but it also sports an automatic overheat sensor that switches off the heater if it gets accidentally covered by a curtain or some clothing.
The main controls are easy to access from either tower heater or baseboard heater position. The primary control is a large anti-slip knob that lets you select between OFF and the various ON modes in seconds. The countdown timer knob lets you select anywhere between 10 minutes & 4 hours and make the heater shut itself off without you needing to be there (or needing to be awake if you’re using it in a bedroom).
