This ceramic heater from DeLonghi comes with the new Eco-energy feature that uses 20%-40% less energy than other 1,500 Watt heaters.
It oscillates to speed up air circulation and has an easy to read digital display, built in 24 hour timer, tip-over switch, overheat protection sensor and comes with a remote control (including the batteries).
It's efficient, powerful and simple to use. And what's more it looks great as it's designed and built by DeLonghi.
The remote control lets you adjust the thermostat, switch between the various power modes and also enables you to turn on/off the oscillation.
Also has removable/cleanable anit-dust filter (located in the rear of the heater).
The superior performance of the ceramic element in ceramic heaters provides a much faster heat than old fashioned fan heaters that used those coiled spring elements.
Use the "mode" button on the remote or on the heater itself to cycle through the various modes: Fan Only, Anti-Freeze mode, Low Power and High Power. Use the "Eco" button to switch between normal mode and energy saving Eco-energy mode.
In eco-energy mode the appliance will automatically set the power level to achieve the best comfort while reducing power consumption. While in eco-energy mode the heater may automatically switch itself between high and low power several times per hour. While in eco mode, the maximum temperature is auto-limited to 79 degrees.
The digital timer is very simple to operate. If you want the unit to turn ON in 8 hours (for example), turn it OFF, press the timer button and use the +/- buttons to get the timer to 8 hours.
If you want the heater to stay ON for 3 hours and then turn itself OFF automatically, turn the heater ON, press the timer button and use the +/- buttons to get the timer to 3 hours.
