Mr Heater's Big Buddy™ came hot on the heels of its hugely successful smaller brother. Extra heat output and extra features made this model equally successful.

Certified by CSA International (American Gas Association), Mr. Heater's Big Buddy heater provides safe, reliable propane heat indoors. Instant heat anywhere, anytime!

Highly flexible. Can be used with one 1lb cylinder, two 1lb cylinders, one 20lb cylinder or two 20lb cylinders or with a regulated RV hookup. We also carry refill adapters for the 1lb bottles and hose kits to connect this heater to 20lb cylinders.

Built-in blower fan can circulate heated air for enhanced heating efficiency when using it indoors. The fan operates on 4 x D-Cell batteries or with a 6 volt A/C adapter (not included).

Hose storage bay conveniently located in the bottom of the heater making the Big Buddy the most practical portable propane heater on the market.

Many safety features including: Low-Oxygen shut-off system, tip-over shut-off and heavy duty safety wire guard.

This model has two ceramic burner tiles (as opposed to one tile on the smaller model) and they are mounted with shock absorbing floating insulation for great portability. While the fuel filter is optional for the smaller model, it is a required accessory for this unit Click here to see it.

Also, the Big Buddy has non-skid surface pads for extra stability when placed on flat smooth surfaces (such as tables).

Q. I plan on using the heater inside my house, what length of hose do you recommend ?

A. 20 lb propane tanks are not designed for use inside your home. Most of them will actually leak propane very slowly - and you don't want that. Get a hose that's long enough so that you can position the heater inside and the propane cylinder outside. For some people that's 5 ft, for others it's more like 12 ft.
